Born 1967 in Erpen, County of Osnabrück, in the northwest of Germany and at the southern slope of the Teutoburger Wald between Osnabrück and Bielefeld.
Studied art and germanistics at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Braunschweig and at the TU Carolo Wilhelmina zu Braunschweig (1988-1996). Was a member of the class of Lienhard von Monkiewitsch and Bernd Minnich. Joined exhibitions with Werner Kavermann, Roger Hahn, Albrecht Schäfer, Anne Dreiss in Braunschweig, Amberg (Gruppe Amberger Künstler, solo and together with Anne Dreiss), Regensburg (several times Große Ostbayrische Kunstausstellung) , Freiberg, Nürnberg, Meiningen, and together with the studio community apartment (Andreas Beck, Anne Dreiss, Joachim Krieg) in the Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus in Schwandorf.

Was living and working in Amberg (Bavaria) from 1999 - 2017. Until now living and working in Berlin (Wilmersdorf) and Amberg (Bavaria) as a painter, printmaker and teacher of art.
My painting is based on the interaction between linear perspective spaces and the experience of purity in colour. Therefore my works create a (de)lightful atmosphere between romanticism and pop art as well as a postmodern constructivism.
